Procedure

Here you can specify and calculate your special heating circuit for hazardous area.
Just choose your needed type of heating tapes in accordance to your application.
If you want to calculate your heat losses and the power output of the cable at your maintain temperature
follow this link please:  s. heat loss table→
Please take care for the temperature specification and the T-classification of your hazardous area
For application-/maintain temperature it is:
           ILL <= 60°C, ILH <= 150°C, ILS <= 200°C
The polyolefin outer sheath is used for non or light chemical ambient.
For the T-classification it is:
         ILLw10,17,25,31: T6; ILLw40:T4
         ILH:  T3;   ILS : T3

and the length of the power cable. Please take care of max. heating circuit length

Adhesive aluminium tape for protection, mounting straight with the tape layer  protect the
heating tape from insulation between tape and pipe (55m length, 50mm wide 150°C)
Insulation entry set for power cables
warning label 'electrically heated' (use it each 3m on the pipe)
