  Description

  Due to the heat output of heating tape the pot is hindered of freezing The plant should be wind protected afterall. The plug-in with integrated heating thermostat will be put into or around the outside of the pot: If the heating tape is in the potting soil of the pot, power termination and end termination must be outside the potting soil. If the heating tape is outsiode the pot it should have worked aluminum foil aropund it to reeach a better heat distribution. The required length is easy to calculate: Diameter of the pot / root ball in meters x 3 x (height of the Pot / root ball in cm divide by 20) Example a pot 50cm high, 50cm diameter is: 0.5 x 3 x (50/20 = 2.5 rounded up) = 3 total: 4.5 m -> 5m heating tape

  You can buy ready to plug assembled heating circuits in our webshop (heating tape + frost guard in the supply line (optional, even without) + 3m supply cable (to any length) + plug) The available length is between 1m-10m at 1m intervals from 10-20m at 2m intervals from 25m -60m in 5m intervals and from 60m up at 10m intervals.
